VANCOUVER BC July 4, 2016 – L.O.M. Medical International Inc. (the “Company“ or “L.O.M.”)”) is sad to announce the passing of Randy Hayward a long time shareholder, supporter and member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Hayward died of natural causes on June 28, 2016, at the age 68.
Randy maintained a successful law practice in Edmonton for 20 years. During the latter phase of his law practice, he founded and managed Canadian Dispute Resolution (Alberta) Ltd. and marketed the service of mediation to the legal community and the insurance industry. Mr. Hayward has served on the boards of numerous private and public companies including Intercept Energy Services Ltd. (formally Poly-Pacific International and Global Green Matrix), and Iberian Minerals Ltd. (formerly Solid Resources Inc.) Mr. Hayward has served as a director of the Board of L.O.M. since 2013 and his absence will be felt in many areas.
The management and directors of L.O.M. are deeply saddened to hear of Randy’s passing. Randy’s wealth of knowledge, network and expertise has made an invaluable contribution to the Company. Everyone at L.O.M. extends heartfelt condolences to his wife and family during this difficult time. Randy will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
